FAQ #69 – What About RENT for OCEAN VIEW CONDOS in Manta Ecuador?

Rent for ocean view condos in Manta Ecuador varies considerably based on several factors, such as distance from the beach, building amenities, and quality of the condo and furnishings.

The least expensive ocean view condos are located several blocks from the beach. You can find 1 bedroom/1 bathroom unfurnished condos starting at $350/month with a partially obstructed ocean view. You’ll also find nicer furnished condos in the $500 to $700 range located further from the beach, but still offering nice ocean views.

Small furnished mid-range condos located just 1 block off the beach will rent in the $600 to $900 range. It’s more difficult to find unfurnished condos near the beach because most double as short-term vacation rentals when they don’t have a long-term renter.

The most expensive condos in Manta are located on the beach with unobstructed, panoramic ocean views. You can expect to pay from $650/month for small 1 bedrooms in older buildings to $1,400/month or more for new construction and resort-style living.

We know someone living in El Edificio Las Olas who rents a furnished 1 bedroom/1 bathroom for $650/month. Las Olas is an older building, but it’s still very nice and provides 24/7 security in a gated community.

We featured two rentals in the newly built, resort-style Mykonos complex that rent for $1,300 for the lower unit and $1,400 for the higher unit. You can get a better idea about luxury condo rentals in Manta from this video:

While Manta is more expensive than Cuenca and some of the other inland mountain cities, there are still condos available for rent in most budget ranges. As a general rule, condos that are closer to the beach cost more and get less expensive the further away you get from the ocean.
