You won’t find the variety of supplements in Ecuador that you’re used to back home.
Multivitamins, Vitamin B, C, D and other common supplements are easy to find in pharmacies, specialty health food shops, and protein powder shops similar to GNC back in the US. However, it can be challenging to find more uncommon supplements like Sal Palmetto, B12, and Iodine. Really obscure supplements are impossible to find.
Due to the high cost of supplements and low wages of the average Ecuadorian, they’re not as popular in Ecuador so you’ll need to bring an ample supply with you.
